Advanced Microreactors Arctic Deployment Workshop Public Out-Brief
The U.S. Arctic Research Commission (USARC) and the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) will host a public virtual out-brief on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM AKT. This unclassified, hour long session will present key discussions and research priorities from the Advanced Microreactors Arctic Deployment Workshop (AMAD) held in September 2026. 122nd USARC Meeting
The U.S. Arctic Research Commission held its 122nd meeting at Room 501 Akasofu Building, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Fairbanks, AK, on September 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sessions featured presentations in five core areas: military, energy, economic and community security, as well as strategic research cooperation in the Arctic. A public comment session was held from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
